USS Shaw (DD-373)


Underway in Pearl Harbor, 8 February 1942, headed out to sea for a trial run after installation of a stub bow to temporarily replace that destroyed during the Japanese attack of 7 December 1941.
The day after this photograph was taken, Shaw steamed to the Mare Island Navy Yard, California, for permanent repairs.
