Among the ships present are a collier (left distance), a destroyer tender (left center) and twelve destroyers, including (listed left to right, by the position of sterns, with each ship's bow number given): Wadsworth (60), Cassin (43), Winslow (53), Ericsson (56), McDougal (54), Fanning (37), Cummings (44), Warrington (30), O'Brien (51), Patterson (36), Jenkins (42) and Jarvis (38).
