Removing equipment from ex-USS Galveston (CLG-3)
"Working quarters were sometimes tight aboard the CLG-3.
Many hours were spent by ET1 Askew removing Radar Repeaters and
associated gear. Great care was taken for ET1 Askew is also tasked
with the re-installation at the SWOS Simulator." The items
removed from the ship were to be installed at the Naval Amphibious
School's Surface Warfare Officer School simulator. (quoted portion
