Removing equipment from ex-USS Galveston (CLG-3)


"Working quarters were sometimes tight aboard the CLG-3. Many hours were spent by ET1 Askew removing Radar Repeaters and associated gear. Great care was taken for ET1 Askew is also tasked with the re-installation at the SWOS Simulator." The items removed from the ship were to be installed at the Naval Amphibious School's Surface Warfare Officer School simulator. (quoted portion is taken from the original caption).
