Panoramic photograph of a World War I era recruit training company.
Note the Training Camp flag in center, Chief Petty Officer who
led the company, Krag-Jorgensen rifles carried by the men and
the leggings worn with their uniforms (the source of the popular
term for recruit trainees: "Boots").
Donation of Louise Pace, 2007, from the collection of her father,
Leigh S. Grant, who served in the Navy during and after World
War I.
