May (Steam Yacht, 1891).
Served as USS May (SP-164) in 1917-1919

May, a 652 gross ton steam yacht, was built in 1891 at Troon, Scotland. After two and a half decades' employment as a pleasure craft, she was purchased by the Navy in August 1917 and converted to a patrol vessel. She served during and after World War I as USS May (SP-164) and was wrecked in July 1919.

This page features our only view of the steam yacht May, which was USS May (SP-164) during 1917-19.
