Minnemac II (Motor Boat, 1914).
Served as USS Minnemac II (SP-202) in 1917-1919

Minnemac II, an 78' 4" motor pleasure boat built by George Lawley & Sons at Neponsett, Massachusetts in 1914, was leased by the Navy in May 1917. Placed in commission in early July 1917 as USS Minnemac II (SP-202), she performed patrol duties on Lake Michigan during World War I and was returned to her owner in January 1919.

Minnemac II
(U.S. Motor Boat, 1914)

Photograph taken before her World War I Naval service.
This craft was acquired by the Navy on 3 July 1917 and commissioned two days later as USS Minnemac II (SP-202). She was returned to her owner in January 1919.

The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
