U.S. Army cargo ship FP-343 (1944-1950).
Later renamed FS-343.
Was USNS AKL-34 in 1950-1960

FP-343, an 850-ton general purpose supply vessel built at Kewaunee, Wisconsin, was delivered to the U.S. Army Transportation Corps in 1944. Later renamed FS-343, she was transferred to the U.S. Navy in 1950 for service with the Military Sea Transportation Service (MSTS). At that time, she was renamed USNS AKL-34. Taken out of MSTS service and placed in the Pacific Reserve Fleet in March 1953, AKL-34 was sold in August 1960.
