USRC Hudson, a 128-ton tug, was built at Camden, New Jersey. Commissioned in September 1893, she was assigned to duties in the New York Harbor area for almost all of her career. During the Spanish-American War, she also operated off Cuba, and rescued USS Winslow while under enemy fire at Cardenas in May 1898. Hudson returned to New York after the war. She decommissioned in May 1935.
