Soldiers settling into a troop compartment for a seven day voyage
to Germany for duty.
The ship had just been redecorated to improve comfort for military
personnel and their families traveling to Germany. Enhancements
in the troop compartment included new foam rubber mattresses,
semi-recessed flourescent lighting, greater space, and new lockers
