O.W. Waterman
O.W. Waterman was apparently a member of a family of photographers
who actively recorded Navy subjects beginning in the early 1900s.
The earliest works we have by him were taken in about 1907. For at least the following decade he was located at Hampton, Virginia, near the Atlantic Fleet's main operating base at Norfolk. Soon after the bulk of the Battle Fleet was transferred to the West Coast in 1919, O.W. Waterman appears to have relocated to follow his customers, and was thereafter active in the San Diego, California area.
This page provides links to photographs taken by, or attributed
